People involved in energy planning need to have a sound understanding of energy technology and a knowledge of a range of disciplines such as economics, mathematics, physics, chemistry, geology and environmental science. This qualification is intended for science or engineering graduates who wish to specialise in energy studies. It offers some flexibility of choice and the opportunity to explore an area in depth via a short research project. Programme structure The remaining courses may be selected from the following electives. With the permission of the Programme Committee, students may select other electives from courses offered elsewhere in the University.
